Brief

Langham Partnership were looking to relaunch a library grant that they run as a 'Books for Bible Colleges’ campaign. This was to tackle the growing need for written resources at overseas Bible colleges and seminaries.

They intended to resource over 650 libraries in almost 100 countries with contextually relevant, Christ-centred, and biblically-informed literature, in 2024.

Their primary objectives were to both raise awareness of the campaign and increase giving, to help fund the grants.

Solution

We encouraged the client to launch the campaign on World Book Day to maximise coverage on a day that the world was already interested in books and written resources.

We pitched the release showcasing the problem, the solution and a quote from a previous grant recipient.

We also brought the client an influencer strategy hinged around the BFBC campaign that would see high-profile theological leaders and educators read a book that was from a majority world theologian - and a book within the grant library - then film a book review that highlighted the campaigns key messages.
