Jersey Road PR is expanding its business into Australia, with its first local employee, Georgina Bible, starting work this week.
The UK-based company has experienced unprecedented growth over the past 18 months, including increased global interest in its expertise to help faith-motived organisations, charities and businesses tell their story. Having expanded its UK team to more than double the size of pre-pandemic numbers and had clients in Australia for a number of years, the agency is now responding to growing demand by opening an Australian entity.
Georgina Bible will be joining the team as an Account Manager, with more than 15 years’ experience working with the press in Australia, both as a PR professional and as journalist and editor. She brings an in-depth knowledge of the Australian media to the role, having worked on both sides of the media across a diverse range of clients including The Northern Star newspaper, Byron Writers Festival and as publicist for Opera Australia.
Gareth Russell, Managing Director and Co-founder of Jersey Road PR says, “We are absolutely delighted that Georgina will be joining our team. We were instantly impressed by her strong PR and media experience - combined with her passion and commitment to Jersey Road’s vision, this made her the perfect candidate to help us develop our next growth phase and give profile, voice and influence to new and existing clients in Australia.”
Jersey Road PR has worked with clients in Australia for a number of years, including Alpha Australia, Open Doors, Bible Society Australia, Micah, Centre for Public Christianity and Tearfund. This has provided a solid understanding of the Australian media and Christian landscape, that the agency hopes to build upon and grow through this new venture.
With decades of experience in journalism, advocacy and communications, our team knows what it takes to craft campaigns that can have a lasting impact.
